Brodsworth Quarry Millennium Park Doncaster - Aerial Plan and Ownership

  The Brodsworth Quarry Millennium Urban Village site known as Millennium Park lies to the Northeast of the Doncaster Bypass and comprises 150 acres in the Ownership of Mineral Investments Limited.  The land unusually for Doncaster is in an area of nil flood risk and gently slopes to the North.   The land is the site of the former Pickburn Leys racecourse. The land is previously quarried land restored to Grade 4 Arable and Grazing Land. A shallow deposit of Limestone was removed by Tilcon. More details on the 2024 farming can be found here . In the absence of an allocation for other use (housing, employment, waste disposal) we assume agriculture will continue for the next 20 years and continue with capital improvements. To the West the site adjoins the Keepmoat Skylark Grange Development and the Brodsworth Community woodland of 450 acres.
